  • No matter the quantity you want to make, follow the rule of 15% hemp seeds and 85% water.
  • In this recipe, we put 1 cup of hemp seeds in a bowl and add 5 cups of water to it.
  • Let the seeds soak overnight for about 12 hours.
  • On the next day, rinse the seeds and refill the bowl with 5 new cups of water.
  • Pour the mixture into your blender and blend it until it becomes white.
  • You can then use a clean kitchen towel to filter the mixture while pressuring to extract most of the milk.
  • That’s it! Store the milk in a glass air-tight jar in the fridge and use it within the next 4 days.

Since the basic two components of homemade hemp milk are seeds and water, the lifespan of the drink depends entirely on the lifespan of the seeds.

To extend the lifespan of your hemp milk, keep it in the fridge while making sure it has the least amount of air exposure.
